Potsdam, a city rich in history, is well-known far beyond Germany’s borders and is a favourite destination for tourists from all over the world.
Near the famous Sanssouci Palace is Dortustrasse, where degewo has around 40 flats. Dortustrasse is in the northern part of central Potsdam and is a very popular residential area. In the east it is bordered by the well-known Hansaviertel (Hansa quarter) and to the north is the Jägertor, the oldest Potsdam city gate still preserved. In the southern part of Dortustrasse there are numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities. The Potsdam farmers’ market takes place regularly at Bassinplatz – just a few minutes on foot away from the degewo flats.

Due to its central location in Potsdam, there are very good transport connections to the entire city – with a very comfortable connection to Berlin via the S-Bahn (rapid transit railway).
